Win now! Ask questions later. The National Football League is no longer a league that requires you to build a franchise from the ground up. A solid organization like the New England Patriots continues to make it to the playoffs every year.
After two seasons with the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano was fired after the Buccaneers ended the season with a 4-12 record in 2013, and went 7-9 the following year. Also Huston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak,
was fired after 8 seasons.
Kubiak lead the Texans in the
playoffs for the past two years. A well-built team that is one of the
best teams in the NFL fired the head coach after a bad start in 2013. Kubiak has been the head couch since 2006. I don’t know what this will mean for the
Texans organization moving forward.
The number one priority for the Texans is to draft a more mobile quarterback in the off-season. The current quarterback Matt Schaub was once the quarterback of the future but now he is just a regular quarterback that is more fit for a back up role in the national football league.
This season Schaub’s finished with a career high 14 interceptions, which he passed for 2,310 yards, and 10 touchdowns, while completing 61.1 percent of his passes. Unfortunately Matt Schaub has seen his last start in the NFL.
